I thought I paid my taxes through turbo tax when I filed my return

Your proof that you paid will be your own bank/credit card records.  Your TurboTax account will never update to show that you paid if that is what you are looking at.  TurboTax never knows how, when or if you pay your tax due.  The online account only shows that the result of the return you prepared showed tax due.

Check your bank/credit records.  And make sure you entered the account information correctly for the IRS to use.
