Same.. mine got accepted the 24th and still processing... but I know some that filed after me or the same day and they got a date and they have kids.. frustrating

I still haven't received my federal tax return. Why does it keep saying still being processed on the irs gov site?

After the tax return has been Accepted by the IRS (meaning only that they received the return) it will be in the Processing mode until the tax refund has been Approved and then an Issue Date will be available on the IRS website.

See this IRS website for federal tax refund FAQ's - https://www.irs.gov/refunds/tax-season-refund-frequently-asked-questions

If over 21 days since being Accepted by the IRS and the tax refund is still Processing you can call the IRS and speak with an IRS agent concerning your tax refund.

Call the IRS:  1-800-829-1040  hours 7 AM - 7 PM local time Monday-Friday

When calling the IRS do NOT choose the first option re: "Refund", or it will send you to an automated phone line.

So after first choosing your language, then do NOT choose Option 1 (refund info).  Choose option 2 for "personal income tax" instead.

Then press 1 for "form, tax history, or payment".

Then press 3 "for all other questions."

Then press 2 "for all other questions."

- When it asks you to enter your SSN or EIN to access your account information, don’t enter anything.

- After it asks twice, you will get another menu.

Then press 2 for personal or individual tax questions.

It should then transfer you to an agent.

Mine was accepted Jan 23rd. Says processing still nothing for well over a month. Everytime I call I cant get straight answer. Other then theres seems nothing wrong with your taxes. So why am I still waiting then. 4 months this is just wrong.

The IRS is currently unable to disburse any refund checks due to a lack of funding. Please be patient as we are working diligently on these issues.

I'm not sure why they have us waiting. I have tried to call IRS so many times but either get no one or I'm on hold or wait for over an hour. Still get no one.

Have you gotten yours yet? It's dec and I still haven't gotten federal. I also got my state with no problem. I called them once but was on hold for literally an hour so I hung up!

I still haven't received my federal tax return. Why does it keep saying still being processed on the irs gov site?

It depends.

There are a lot of people experiencing delays in getting their refunds.

The IRS issues a lot of refunds within 21 days, but it has been taking longer with the stimulus payment being issued in addition to the tax refunds.
