Unfortunately the TurboTax 2014 "Online" software is no longer active or available.  If you started but did not finish a TurboTax online tax return in 2014 (i.e., an original tax return, then you will be unable to do so now).  If you were to purchase the 2014 TurboTax software package, either directly from us or from one of our authorized retail partners, what you will actually get is the download or CD-ROM version of the TurboTax program that you would be able to install on your own computer.  We refer to this as our "desktop" product line.

While very similar to TurboTax Online in the way that they function, there are some important differences between online and desktop.  One of those is that you won't be able to use data from an incomplete, online, 2014 tax return in a 2014 desktop product.  Instead, you'd have to re-enter your tax data from scratch.  If instead you'd started your tax return in desktop 2014, but never finished it, then your data would still be there (assuming steps hadn't been taken to erase it).

We hope that this information is of some use to you.  With respect to a prior year (2014 ?) W-2, we would not retain that information.  If you do not have your old W-2 either, then your first best option is to ask for a replacement copy from your company, or your former employer.  If that's not an option, then you can probably get what you need from the IRS itself, or the Social Security Administration, based on what your employer told them at the time.  Here is a link to more detailed information on how to accomplish that:

Thanks for asking this important question; and good luck to you.
