I spoke with the irs this morning and apparently I haven't recieved my stimulous check because turbotax associated greendot to send me my federal return and now theres an investigation. Why dont turbo

The IRS has been unable to direct deposit stimulus payments to customers of any of the tax preparation services who used 3rd party banks to pay the tax preparation fees from the filers federal refunds. If this is what you did, the bank will decline the direct deposit and the IRS will issue a paper check or a debit card and mail it to you at the address on file with the IRS.
