I received this message, should I be worried?

We received your return and it may require further review. This may result in your New York State return taking longer to process than your federal return. No further information is available at this time.

It just means that your NYS return is being manually reviewed. Each state randomly selects several returns to review. Unless there is an issue, in which case NYS will contact you, the only thing to be concerned about it that your state return will take longer than your Federal.
