What kind of 1099? There are many different kinds, 1099Misc, 1099R etc. Sure they don't want a 1095-A or 8962?

Comply with all directions given in the notice as directed ... until you do the return will be held up in processing.

could that be a 1099-B because you didn't provide the required detail for your stock trades?
