I put the right account and rounting number in for direct deposit but not the bank does it matter

If you did not put the name of the bank but did input the routing and account number, that will be fine.  A bank is identified by their routing number so even if someone inputted the incorrect name or did not spell the bank's name correctly, as long as the routing and account number is there, they should receive their funds.
