i paid an overpayment on my taxes in 2022 how do I claim it on my return

The refund from 2022 was either sent to you or paid forward towards your 2023 taxes. If it was sent to you then you already received it. If it was applied to your 2023 return then it was used or refunded for that year. You can't claim a 2022 refund on your 2024 taxes.
