I never received my state tax returns from 2024 because I submitted an amended return and not the original. They said I will just have to submit the original but how?

You have not explained how you managed to file only an amended state return but did not file the original state return---I suspect that you made some sort of mistake and realized it too late, clicked on "amend" by mistake, or some such other user error.   At this point, you cannot use online TurboTax to work on a 2024 return.  Online is closed and you can only use the desktop download.   Your situation is quirky in that you mistakenly sent in an amended return and now need to prepare an original state return. 

It might be easier to use the state's website and get the state forms for 2024 to prepare an original state return by hand to send in, instead of the total confusion that trying to use TT would cause now.   You will need information from your federal return in order to prepare the state return.   And...it can only be sent by mail.
