I need to amend my 2022 return a 2nd time but my nc efile status says that nc has already accepted my return?

I need to amend my 2022 return a 2nd time but my nc efile status says that nc has already accepted my return? I made a mistake on my original return, it got accepted by federal and state but i left off some income so I amended my return, the federal got rejected but state got accepted, I realized I entered the income incorrectly, so I went to amend a 2nd time and before I went to efile, it's giving me the option to file my federal but it says "north carolina has already accepted my return" on 3/9/2022 for my state option, what do I need to do?

Yes I know how to amend but when I get to the end where I'm ready to file, it says this Screenshot_20230312_202434_Chrome.jpg

Filers can electronically file up to three amended returns. If you file a third amended return that is accepted, all subsequent attempts will be rejected.

You should wait until that Amended return has actually processed through the system prior to amending again.  Processed meaning that the action taken on the 1st amendment has been acknowledged by the IRS and state.
