As of October 22, TurboTax 2016 online is shut down and can no longer be used to amend 2016. You must use the amend desktop software on your computer to amend.

By the way, what TurboTax product did you use for your return?    It says "Free Edition" by your username above.  Is that correct?    To deduct state and local sales tax, one would have needed to use Deluxe or higher, AND one would need to be able to use itemized deductions on Schedule A.   i.e., Do the state and local sales taxes plus all your other itemized deductions (medical, charity, property taxes, interest, 2% misc. deductions, etc.) exceed your standard deduction?
