I missed adding some unemployment compensation on my 2016. I paid the filing fee but hasn't been filed yet. How can I fix this

As long as the return has not been filed, you can edit the income section to add this information. Normally this type of income is reported to you on Form 1099-G. 

To add Unemployment Income reported on Form 1099-G, please follow the steps below:

• On the TaxTimeline, select "Federal Taxes" then "Wages and Income".

• If you do not see the "Unemployment" section listed, click on the "Check for more income" button, then select "Skip to see all income".

• Scroll down to "Unemployment" and select "Show More", then click on the "Start" button and begin entering information into this section.
