I'm living in WA and I'm supposed to send my tax turn to the following address by USPS:
Department of the Treasury
Internal Revenue Service
Fresno, CA 93888
However, by accident, I sent it by UPS (because I thought the address is not a PO box). I found that the correct address for UPS should be
Internal Revenue Submission Processing Center
5045 East Butler Avenue,
Fresno, CA 93727
I searched the two addresses via google map and it seems that they refer to the same location. Will my package be received by IRS anyway? Has anyone met the same problem before? Thank you!

If you mail your tax return to the wrong Internal Revenue Service Center, it will be forwarded to the correct address.

I'm just wondering if someone else has the same issue in previous years. How does IRS react in this case? Will they still accept the package even if it's a UPS package sent to an address for USPS?
You will have to contact the IRS. Turbo Tax will not know.
How do I contact the Internal Revenue Service (IRS)? https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/3301592
Just realized that I made the same mistake. How was your case going? Did IRS accept your documents or did they ask you to send them another copy?
