I made a error on my 2019 tax return. I forgot to include a payback of a "ACA" supplement, due to my income changing during the year. How do I handle this?

My original return had a small deposit coming, which I have yet to see. i was originally told to wait for the deposit before addressing this. Now, I am concerned and just want to resolve this.

Until the original return has been fully processed and you have received the original refund DO NOT amend the return for any reason.

You can amend e-filed returns if they've been accepted; paper-filed returns may be amended once they've been mailed.
