I'm trying to amend my 2018 return and every time I get this message "It looks like your federal return can't be amended right now".

Every time I try to amend my already filed return for 2018, I get this message 

"It looks like your federal return can't be amended right now

This is a nationwide delay for all returns like yours, no matter who's preparing them.

You're going to have to wait until the tax form for amending a return (Form 1040X) is ready for processing.

Form 1040X will be ready on 03/07/2019."

The date provided keeps changing. I don't know what's so special about my return to where I can't amend it. Is anyone else having this issue? I received a refund this year, but filed an education credit improperly, so I need to change it since I'm due for an additional refund. Any help would be appreciated!

It's not anything special about your tax return. Form 1040X for an amended return is not yet available in TurboTax. It is currently expected to be available on March 7. That date is an estimate, not a guarantee, and it could be late in the afternoon Pacific time on March 7. It was originally expected to be available earlier, but the date had to be delayed because there was a delay in the IRS issuing the final instructions for the form. That's why the date changed.
