I just realized I put the wrong amount for EDD. I already efiled. Is there a way to fix it? Will the IRS catch it and just fix it? What do I do?

Are you talking about your stimulus payments?

You do not need to amend your return due to any stimulus misstatements on your tax return.   The IRS has published they will review and catch those errors and notify you of any corrections.  See questions G2 and G3 here.

No not the stimulus.  The actual unemployment compensation.  I entered the wrong amount in the amount recieved box😬

No do not amend for any unemployment compensation corrections.  The IRS will make those corrections and notify you of the changes; they should even catch your mistake.

Once you get the notification of changes from the IRS be sure they include all the corrections even your mistaken entry.

If not, you will need to amend at that time.
