If you do not choose direct deposit when you are in the FILE section, the default method of getting your refund is a check mailed to the address on your tax return. Make sure you use your correct mailing address.

open a savings account at your bank or credit union.

open a brokerage account at TD Ameritrade (for example) and have your refund deposited there.
