I have an offset on my taxes but still got a check can i keep it?

If you have received the check from the IRS, it is most likely because they have taken all the delinquent debt, and sent you the remaining amount. You can keep it.  The IRS would send you a refund and then take it away. They don't just do that, they take what you owe them and send you difference once they took it all.
