What does "Your tax return is still being processed. A refund date will be provided when available." Exactly mean?

Sorry to hear that Marky. That might be your bottom line but again I've watched daily every year since I turned 18. I've been filing my taxes through TT since I turned into an adult. TT isn't to blame for these issues it's the new path act which delays eic and actc refunds till mid Feb for review by the irs to help protect against identity frauds supposedly.  I see it as a way to break up into sections those who claim eic and those who dont making it easier for them to review and approve or deny. I've never heard of it updating once a week in fact irs.gov notates that the system updates once every 24 hours typically overnight.

From what I have hear" STILL" being processed means they are still working on it or you need to verify and "is" being processed means you are done and just waiting on DD date. Fingers crossed that's true that is waht HR block has said.

Pweathers1979 thank you. I was on being processed for 3 weeks and updated to still being processed Sunday should I worry?

@pweathers1979 is correct bc I am on still processing so I called and they said that I wasn’t done processing yet aand to call bk on Friday if I don’t have a update but if something was wrong then I would have got a code on wmr I just don’t see all these people having to id verify

ashleydj123- From what I have saw I went from 1 bar to no bars saturday with IS being processed then Sunday had dd date of 2/22 no child credit just eic credit filed and accepted 27.... Now my fiance has both credits filed and accepted 1/31 had one bar then saturday no bars with " IS BEING PROCESSED" and she hasnt updated off that yet.

I filed 1040ez with standard deductions on Jan 29. I was checking everyday and on Feb 1st the Refund Status showed my return was received. Around Feb 15th, the status bars disappeared and the "your tax return is still being processed" message was in its place. Waited 21 days from the date it was received before I was going to call the IRS but on Feb 22nd the status bars returned. My refund was approved and scheduled for direct deposit on Feb 27th.
