i responded to a thread about a taxpayer having issues with her a w-2 she got. I informed her to contact the Social Security Administration. The problem was the w-2 was never sent to the SSA but she got her copy. It's the SSA that's supposed to get the W-2s and forward the info on to the IRS. Therefore I suggest you contact the SSA to see if their records match your w-2.
the alternative is to register on the IRS website and review your w-2 transcript but it's likely not to match otherwise there would be no issue with the iRS.

May I know. How to contact SSA? Should I ask for my employer if they have any proof for submitting to SSA?
First talk to the employer ... ask them when/if they ever filed the W-2 & W-3 with the SSA. Was your SS# on the W-2 form correct ? The IRS should have sent them a notification after you sent them the W-2 form ... did they respond to it ?
Log into your account at SSA.gov to see what they have on file.
My Employer didn't mention about any notice he received.
I checked in the https://www.ssa.gov/myaccount/
I see my earnings are not reported. It is 0$ for the 3 years(2019,2020,2021) I worked with this employer. My tax return didn't have a problem on 2019 and 2020. For 2021 I got this notice.
Thanks for the info. This is the first time I am cross checking in SSA site.
What should be my next action?
