I got a CP2000 and agreed with the IRS assessment -- what now?

I recently received a CP2000 from the IRS. The IRS believed that I owed an extra $610 in taxes and fees for a 1099 that was not listed on my 2019 tax return. The IRS was right — I work for a lot of different clients and totally forgot to report one of the jobs that I had worked.

I agreed to the IRS's assessment, checked "yes" on the CP2000 form, and returned the CP2000 with a check for the under-reported amount plus interest  and fees ($610). The IRS cashed my check, but I have not received any follow-up correspondence. Here is my questions:

Since I agreed with the IRS's assessment and since the IRS cashed my check, am I all set? I read on few forums that CP2000 recipients should call the IRS eight weeks after responding to the CP2000 to make sure the issue is settled and the CP2000 was accepted. This seems to make sense for someone that is disagreeing with the IRS and debating the amount owed -- but what about me? I agreed with the IRS, so do I have to follow up as well?

No, there is no reason for you to contact the IRS since you agreed with their assessment and have paid the taxes owed.
