I forgot a W2 which was only for a month of employment but my return was excepted February 3 and then nothing, can I still file amended return? 2018

my  taxes were excepted on February 3 and I have another W-2 that came late right now my income taxes are in limbo and there’s no information provided when call they just say 9 weeks. I know it has to be this W2

You will have to wait until the return is either accepted or rejected by the IRS.

If the return is rejected by the IRS you can add the W-2 and refile your return.

If the return was accepted by the IRS then you will have to file an amended tax return using Form 1040X to add the W-2.
