I filed this year with you guys and it says my stimulus check should have went o where ever they sent my taxes I did direct deposit through you guys and it’s claiming now they sent it to an unkno

Can you please clarify, did you have your tax refund put on a TurboTax Debit Card?

No I provided my (cash app) routing and account number for direct deposit to a card I use regularly for convenience.

The IRS will use the routing number and account number that you used last year.  If your deposit was to a cash app, it may take a day or two for the funds to show available to you.

To see what account the Stimulus payment was deposited into go to: Get My Payment.  It will show the last four numbers of the bank account in which the funds were deposited.

I have all of this knowledge this is where the problem lies: if the stimulus check goes to the place you received your taxes for 2018 or 2019 and I only filed WITH YOU GUYS this year (2020)  for my 2019 taxes it should have went to the card you guys have on file. It didn’t it’s claims it was sent to some random account that I don’t have which shouldn’t have happened if they received my tax return information FROM YOU GUYS. I didn’t file last year so there couldn’t have been a mix up which has me concerned now because I still haven’t received my federal tax return so what’s going on

Hello. I had a similar issue to this. I prepared my taxes with Turbo Tax in February and my refund was sent directly towards my student loan debt. When I checked my IRS portal today to track the status of my stimulus check, it stated that the check had been sent to a bank account that I am unfamiliar with. I looked back at my 2019 taxes and there is an unfamiliar routing and account number included in them that I did not submit. This is the account number that my stimulus check was sent to.
