What do you mean by "file the date?' What are you trying to do?
Where is the date the tax papers where submitted to the IRS. Maybe it’s on an email somewhere??
If you filed by mail you were supposed to write the date on the Form 1040 next to your signature. If you e-filed you would have an email showing when it was accepted, and you would have an electronic postmark page in the pdf of your saved tax return. It is still not clear why you think you need the date. Is there a problem? Did you not receive your 2018 refund?
When and how did you file the 2018 return ?
Which program did you use ?
Did you accidentally use the current 2019 online program to efile a 2018 return ?
