I filed my returns jointly already but just wondering if occupation matters for my spouse? Couldn't change his occupation since turbotax didn't let me but had to file.

My husband is only receiving social security benefits (he passed away in june 2021) but in his occupation I put used car salesman because that was his previous job before for 30  years, will that matter or do I have to amend tax return? It wouldn't allow me to change the occupation on turbotax for some reason, and I had to file it before deadline.

Please don't worry about the Occupation; there is no "right" answer for this field. The field is just used for statistical analysis. 

So do not amend your return.
