I filed both my federal and state filings for free. When I go to print the documents to save for my records it downloads an empty file that I can't open (156kB size)

The file is named (1) or (2), (3), etc depending on how many times I try to download it. The file is small (144kB-200kB range) and has no extension. I've tried to access this file both using the larger download/print return button at the top of my home page and the download/print return option down on the bottom right of my home page. Both do the same thing.

If the Download/print return button on the Tax Home web page cannot be used to print your tax return, then follow this procedure -

When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state.  See screenshot

This will take you back to the 2018 online tax return.

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen.  Then click on Print Center.  Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return
