Did you print and mail the amended return? Amended returns have to be printed and mailed. They can't be e-filed per IRS regulation. It is recommended to wait until the IRS has accepted your initial return and you have received your federal refund before you amend the return. And the filing instructions page that prints with the return will tell you what needs to be included. Hello. Can one set up bank info in TT for an amended 2018 Fed Return having a refund, while the original return had a payment due? I don’t see a place to put bank info for a refund. Will IRS just use the bank acct provided in the original filing from where they pulled the amount due? Please advise or elaborate. Thanks
