I claimed son as a dependent but he made too much. I amended my return but son's was rejected. Filed ext. for him. If my amend. now shows "accepted" can I now e-file his?

And / or do I need to file his on paper? If so, what form? He made income in Arizona - it was the Arizona state filing that was rejected.

You need to amend your AZ tax return to not show your son as a dependent. Then you can file his AZ amended tax return.
