I checked YES in the box about virtual currency because I thought it could be like using transferwise to exchange usd to mxn and I cannot change that in amended return

Have you tried the Delete a Form function?

  1. Under Tax Tools, choose Tools
  2. Choose Delete a Form
  3. Scroll through your return until you find associated worksheets, click Delete to the right of the form
  4. Confirm that you wish to delete the form

Thank you, I have done that, but at the end it doesn't show my original tax return. So it is calculating the refund wrong. Do you know if I could recover all the info? It shows 0 in the original wages box.  Or it doesn't matter if I have all the docs that I need and I use the new amending process to have the schedule 1 with the virtual currency box checked "NO". I understand that I have to mail the amended return, so maybe it doesn't matter how my amend is on turbotax website, right?

You can cancel the amendment, and that should result in your original return showing back up.

Also, if your tax does not change, you probably don't need to amend your return. If you indicated that you had virtual currency but entered no numbers associated with that, then it will not affect your tax or refund/amount due, so you probably don't need to file an amended return.
