You cannot use the online software for a 2018 return now. You missed the deadline. Online preparation and e-filing for a 2018 return has been permanently closed since October 15. You will need a full PC or Mac in order to use the downloaded desktop software in order to complete the return, which must then be printed signed and mailed.
