I answered one of the child tax credits incorrectly and I believe it affected my taxes. Can someone assist me with fixing this?

It asked was something on my daughter's listed on her SSN card and I answered it incorrectly. What should I do to correct this?

There is a question that asks if the child has a SSN valid for employment.   If you said NO, that is the problem.

Go back to the My Info section.  Edit the dependent.  Where you entered the Social Security number uncheck the box labeled "Not valid for employment"

Click on My Info on the left side of the online program screen

Have you filed yet?  If not go back through My Info and edit her info.  Fix the employment question listed in the prior reply.
