I amended my taxes because i needed subtract a wrong w-2 but i went ahead and submitted it and said i owed 2000 dollars but really i shouldve gotten a refund where is it?

the amount you owe on 1040-X line 20 is what counts.

The IRS has to go over your 1040-X with a fine tooth comb to look for mistakes, if any.
