I am trying to locate my online turbo tax returns online from the 2010s, and I am not finding them. I started using the disc version 2 years ago.

I’ve always used online TurboTax since the earliest 2000s. I have been able to view my past year filed returns online always.

TurboTax only retains the last seven years of online tax returns, the same retention period as the IRS. Any tax returns prior to 2017 are no longer available.

If you used the desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created. TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.
