I am filing an amended return and indiana is different it was &249.00 and is now & 285.00. why is there a difference.

the amended return is about my social security number being wrong.

if your return was REJECTED don't file an amended return.

Edit the SSN and resubmit

also note that TurboTax updates may cause a change in your federal and/or state return.

Always print a copy of your completed tax return for your records, and review it carefully before e-Filing.

You will need it if you are audited by the IRS, or to amend because a TurboTax update changes your return.
