Once a return is processed by the IRS TurboTax receives no information about your return. You should get a letter from the IRS explaining the adjustment.
@karavan123 when the IRS 'accepts' you return, all that means is they acknowledge receipt; if doesn't mean they have reviewed or approved the refund abount.
You'll have to explain what kinds of things were on your tax return before anyone here can even guess at the reason there was a discrepancy between what you submitted and what the IRS approved.
did you enter a quarterly estimated payment on the tax return that the IRS has no record of?
did you check the box that you wanted the refund to be rolled to 2023? what is on line 36 of Form 1040?
No one else can see your account or your tax return. We can only offer guesses as to why your refund was reduced by the IRS. The IRS may have found a mistake you made and corrected it---did you enter some income incorrectly or forget to enter some income? The IRS receives information from employers, clients, banks, financial institutions, etc. and if the information you entered does not match, they may have made an adjustment. TurboTax never knows if the information you entered was complete or correct; TT does not and cannot check against outside sources. Or....did you owe back taxes or child support?
It will take several weeks but the IRS will send you a letter that tells you what they changed; if you do not agree with the change the letter will tell you what to do next.
