No use calling turbotax. I wasted 3-4 hours of my time on different days. Ended up printing the amended returns and mailing it to IRS. Waiting for it to be accepted. There was no fix even though Turbotax released updates.
Same here. I wasted hours calling customer service,no use. It’s a software bug. Tax agent won’t be able to fix it over the phone. Developers need to fix the software!
The same here! It's April 27, and there has been no update. I'm going to file it by mail, too. I'm extremely disappointed with Turbotax.

I have the same issue and can not efile Federal
@leeyilun This thread is several months old and has posts from multiple users. We do not know what "same issue" you are having. We cannot see your screen or your tax return. Are you having trouble e-filing your original federal tax return, or are you trying to e-file an amended return? Please provide some details.
I was able to e-file CA state amended return but not Federal amended return. See screenshot below. Any suggestion how to efile Federal amended 2023 tax return? thanks.
Same here. E-file failed and the software asked to update. After update it's stuck with the transmission trouble status.
When trying to e-file again, it says "You have no returns eligible for e-filing."
Tried removing the amendment and redoing the whole process. No luck.

Are you still having this issue? when you click Transmit my return now, are you getting an error message or what happens? Have you followed any steps provided by the error message. Do you have any forms in your return that is not eligible for e-file? See the form available to check your forms. If you are still having issues and none of the questions above helped, then I would like to take a deeper look at this. However, I need a diagnostic file which is a copy of your tax return that has all of your personal information removed. You can send one to us by following the directions below:

Exact same problem happening for the 2024 desktop version. After an update during efiling my amended federal and state, only state went through, federal one is stuck in the same transmission trouble. Please fix this.
If you are using a MAC, this is a known issue. Unfortunately you will need to paper file your Federal Amendment.
