HOW TO UPDATE BANK INFORMATION BEFORE FILING

How do I update my bank information BEFORE I e-file? The only option I see after following all steps is "confirm payment". When I select that, it takes me to the box with the bank information and wants me to either save my bank information or deposit refund in the old account. NOTHING WORKS TO CHANGE THE BANK INFORMATION!!!!!!

You cannot  change banking information while your return is in pending, nor can you change it after the return is accepted.  The IRS does not allow it.

You apparently didn't read my post. Nothing is pending, submitted, or anything.
