How to migrate 2023 dat to current year tx return?

In 2023 turbotax, I can easily migrate revious year's data. Whay can I not do the same for 2024 tax filing?

How to migrate 2023 dat to current year tx return?

The .2023tax file has to be transferred at the very beginning before you enter any new 2024 information.
