I e-filed my federal return and entered my bank account for direct withdrawal to pay the tax I owe. Now I printed a copy of my federal return, but don't see my bank account (nor the "xxxxxxxxxc" account #), or anything showing I am paying directly from my bank. I can't find the Electronic Filing Instructions for Your 2020 Federal Return among all the forms of my Federal return, which normally gives payment information/instructions to mail the check. Can someone please tell me how to find the Electronic Filing Instructions? or how to verify that Turbotax didn't send in my direct payment info. to IRS? I bought Turbotax via a Mac Download, so it's now on-line Turbotax. Thanks so much.

You wrote: "I bought Turbotax via a Mac Download, so it's now on-line Turbotax."
That's confusing and contradictory, since a Mac program download is desktop software installed on one's computer, as opposed to Online TurboTax, which is a web-based version. So with both of those terms being in the same sentence, it's not clear which one you ended up using.
The method to get a copy with all the forms and worksheets including the Electronic Filing Instructions is different in each of those versions. Since you used "download" and "online" in the same sentence, I still don't know with certainty which one you used. If you used the desktop software, you should be able to go into Forms Mode, and there will be a list of all the forms, worksheets, and summary pages in your return, including the Electronic Filing Instructions, and you can view/print any form you wish. You can also save a PDF that includes the return and all the extra pages, if desired.
On the other hand, if you used Online TurboTax (web version), we can tell you a special way to get a large PDF with all the forms, worksheets, summary pages, Electronic Filing Instructions, etc.
A Form 1040 only displays bank numbers if there is a Federal refund and if direct deposit is chosen. The bank numbers do not display on the Form 1040 itself for a direct debit to pay Federal taxes due.
The payment method you chose to pay the Federal taxes due and any bank account numbers should be on the Electronic Filing Instructions page, and also likely present on a summary page called 2020 Federal Tax Return Summary. In addition, the debit bank numbers should also be on the Federal Information Worksheet, in section Part V.
Thank you so much for your response. With my desperation at 2 am this morning, I wrote "I bought Turbotax via a Mac Download, so it's now on-line Turbotax." I really meant to write "so it's NOT on-line Turbotax".
Anyway, I looked up in Forms again and still don't see Electronic Filing Instructions. Nor do I see a "2020 Federal Tax Return Summary. Did something go wrong? Or How can I verify my payment instruction went through now? Thanks so much.

The Filing Instructions, Federal Information Worksheet, and Federal Tax Return Summary are created when a return is started, so they should always be there in the forms list during return preparation. Of course they aren't complete at the start, but they are present in Forms Mode from the start. So I'm not sure why you are not finding them.
But I don't use a Mac, so I'll ask someone who does to help you find those 3 forms so you can see what it's showing about your electronic debit payment for taxes owed. In the Windows version, in Forms Mode there is a list of forms that are in the return in the left column of the screen--it may not appear in the same way in the Mac version. Here's how to find those 3 forms at least in the Windows version:
Once in Forms Mode, the Electronic Filing Instructions are way down near the bottom of the Federal forms list. In the Windows product it appears abbreviated in the list as "Filing Inst". Below the Filing Instructions is "Return Summary." The Federal Information Worksheet is near the top of the list and is labeled "Info Wks".
You can also try this:
Save your return as a PDF. It should either already include the Electronic Filing Instructions in it by default, or at the time of saving it may allow you to select which forms to include. One of the choices may be an option to include all the forms and worksheets, which would also have the other two forms (at least it does when making a PDF with all pages in the Windows version.)
@ macuser_22
Are you please able to help this user view/print a copy of the Electronic Filing Instructions, the Federal Tax Return Summary, and the Federal Information Worksheet. So far he says he can't find them. He wants to verify the banking info he provided for an electronic debit payment of his taxes owed.
I gave the Windows instructions for finding them in Forms Mode, but maybe it's not the same with a Mac. Or maybe he will find those 3 forms when he makes a PDF of all the forms and worksheets. Thanks!

Thanks so much. I found the Info Wks in the Forms mode and verified my withdrawal/payment info. After I created a PDF copy of the return, the Electronic Filing Instruction showed up in my print copy. However, I still can't find it or the 2020 Tax Return Summary page in TurboTax Forms or the pdf files. However, I am happy that I was able to verify it in the Info Wks. Thanks so much for both of your help!

In the forms mode both the Tax Summary and Two-Year Comp should be in it - look closely.
