After you file

I e-filed my federal return and entered my bank account for direct withdrawal to pay the tax I owe.  Now I printed a copy of my federal return, but  don't see my bank account (nor the "xxxxxxxxxc" account #), or anything showing I am paying directly from my bank.  I can't find the Electronic Filing Instructions for Your 2020 Federal Return among all the forms of my Federal return, which normally gives payment information/instructions to mail the check.  Can someone please tell me how to find the Electronic Filing Instructions? or how to verify that Turbotax didn't send in my direct payment info. to IRS?   I bought Turbotax via a Mac Download, so it's now on-line Turbotax.  Thanks so much.

That's confusing and contradictory, since a Mac program download is desktop software installed on one's computer, as opposed to Online TurboTax, which is a web-based version.  So with both of those terms being in the same sentence, it's not clear which one you ended up using.

The method to get a copy with all the forms and worksheets including the Electronic Filing Instructions is different in each of those versions.  Since you used "download" and "online" in the same sentence, I still don't know with certainty which one you used.    If you used the desktop software, you should be able to go into Forms Mode, and there will be a list of all the forms, worksheets, and summary pages in your return, including the Electronic Filing Instructions, and you can view/print any form you wish.   You can also save a PDF that includes the return and all the extra pages, if desired.

On the other hand, if you used Online TurboTax (web version), we can tell you a special way to get a large PDF with all the forms, worksheets, summary pages, Electronic Filing Instructions, etc.

A Form 1040 only displays bank numbers if there is a Federal refund and if direct deposit is chosen.  The bank numbers do not display on the Form 1040 itself for a direct debit to pay Federal taxes due.

The payment method you chose to pay the Federal taxes due and any bank account numbers should be on the Electronic Filing Instructions page, and also likely present on a summary page called 2020 Federal Tax Return Summary.  In addition, the debit bank numbers should also be on the Federal Information Worksheet, in section Part V.
