The IRS sent me a letter saying I need to correct my estimated tax amount. I go to line 66 of the 1040 worksheet and it looks like the only way is to use override. is that correct?
Thanks for your help

What year? Why is it wrong? Did you claim more estimates than you paid? Or did it show up on the wrong line like with withholding?
I am doing 2018 taxes now
The 2017 data transfer was incorrect because the IRS owed me more money as the letter said. No, I did not claim more estimates than I paid. They adjusted my estimate because of interest they own me on my account.
the amount is not on any line that is why I am trying to put it on the line 66. unless you have a better idea
Thanks
Just to let you know there is another way to change that number. go to form Estimated taxes & W-4 Worksheet right below choose a method -amount to appy to 2019
Have a good tax day
