How to amend previous tax return with .tax2018 file but with the software uninstalled? Is there a way to download the software and load the file?

I filed 2018 tax return with TurboTax (I installed the software from a CD and stored a copy for .tax2018 file). However, I already uninstall the software and lost the CD. I recently found I make a mistake in the tax return and would like to amend it. Is there a way to load the local tax file somewhere, e.g., by downloading the software again locally?

You have to install the program.  Call and see if you can get the download.

Or you might be able to use the special amend program.  It's for online returns but try it.  2018 Amend programs for Windows
