How long does it take to get a check from tpg

Hi when I say post dated I mean that the postal date when the post office received the envelope and stamps it. It shows March 15th. I was told by tpg that it was mailed March 4th

Still no check today , I called the bank all they did was give me the check number smh the guy on the phone was like I promise you’ll get it next week I promise just be patient

I called Friday and they said it was mailed 3/4. Got it 3/19. It's a unmarked envelope from Pasadena, CA and it's a Cashier's Check.. hope this info helps all!

I have been waiting on my check from Sbtpg since February 29th this is when they told me it was in the mail as of today it has been over a month since  Sbtpg received my refund from the irs does anyone have any advice on where to file a complaint next ?

Yes.  You should file a Complaint with the Comptroller of Currency Online.   They're corporate to all Federal banks etc.

Call IRS and have them place an tracer on the check. I did that due to I’m still waiting and they told me mines was mail on 3/2. I’m like I’m in New Orleans it no way it take this long for a check to come from Cali to Nola. But IRS will place an tracer it takes 90 but then will make sure the bank did or didn’t then I guess after that time if you never receive they will issue it

90days 😳that's along time.   If I don't get any results from the Comptroller of Currency. Or my Actual refund in the next 10 days.  I will be calling I.R.S.    Thanks

So I did finally get my check on Saturday 3/19/22. The check was dated 03/02/2022. The envelope was post marked 03/15/2022. They had told me it was mailed out on 03/04/22! However, now there is a 10 day hold on my CASHIERS CHECK. The bank stayed the check has a high probability for return which makes no sense! I also don’t understand how it is TPG Bank but the check states GREEN DOT BANK on the check! I don’t know what kind of shady stuff they are doing at TPG but I do know that if my check is returned we going to have some serious problems. So now I have to wait until 03/30/2022 for my funds to be released! Which is basically another week! It is ridiculous!

Did anyone else have holds placed on their cashiers checks? Which I don’t understand how a hold is placed on a cashiers check when it’s certified funds!?

It’s a cashier check your bank suppose to call the number on the check for the confirmation number. It shouldn’t be any issues

Yes that what IRS told me when they said they can place an tracer due to right now they can’t do anything since TPG have it and never return it to them. They can just do a tracer what’s takes 90 days but TPG said I can either do this form that will charge another 30 dollars to reissue a check or have it return back to IRs which will take 6-8 weeks I’m like wait if I send back this form they sent me I will have to pay another 30 dollars like for something y’all did and if I say no just send back to irs it will take 6-8 weeks like how due to this will be an ach transfer it’s straight bs I’m giving them till Wednesday if I don’t have my coins by then Someone will feel me due to it’s ridiculous frfr IRS won’t do anything since they don’t have it and it will show that TPG have the funds
