How do I start a new return? I logged in and it says Oct 15 has passed, what is that?

The TurboTax online editions for tax year 2018 have closed.

The online editions for tax year 2019 will be available sometime in December of 2019.

If you need to create, complete and file a 2018 tax return using TurboTax then you will need to purchase, download and install on a personal computer one of the 2018 desktop editions from this website - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/past-years-products/

A 2018 tax return can only be printed and mailed, it cannot be e-filed.
