How do I sign my 2017 fedeal tax return

I have used Turbo Tax on this computer since 2013.  I am confused on where I go to sign the return and have my husband sign it (we file married, jointly).Is the information stored in a previous year's return and then rolled forward when I go to e file it?

You do not indicate whether you are mailing or efiling. When efiling, turbo tax will process your "signature"  for your and your husband electronically via PIN numbers and identify verification. If you do not have a PIN number Turbo tax will ask for your AGI from last year as another option. See the web site below for efiling.

If mailing then when you complete preparing your returns Turbo tax will printe the necessary information to send in your return that includes signature blocks.

If you are e-filing, the program will ask for identifying information such as your PIN (which should roll over from prior TurboTax program data), and may ask for additional ID info such as driver's license number. This will occur after you have completed your return and are ready to file.
