how do i know if fed was filed?

I set up a payment plan with my fed. but i don't think it was filed because i can't file my state. how can i tell?

how do i know if fed was filed?

if you e-filed in TurboTax Online, you'll see its status on the Tax Home screen of your account. We'll also send you emails letting you know when your e-file status changes.
