Why they are bs’ing us I don’t know but me nor my niece n nephew, who received their taxes through turbo card as well, can log into the turbo card app, log in online, text the balance number, or even call the customer service number! When we all went onto the irs app it stated they had no direct deposit information for any of us!
Did you guys check the 'get my payment' tool on irs website & I did talk to a Turbo tax specialist and she had absolutely no information for me. I asked why some Turbo card members have already received their Money today but others have Not. Especially when they told us all that if we file 2018 and 2019 taxes with direct deposit we would not have to do anything.
Hello, So i have been following the threads and seem to hear the same thing. The IRS has not given clear instructions. However, I went to the IRS website's "GET MY PAYMENT" tool (https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/get-my-payment) and was able to get an answer! So, basically after I entered my basic info: SS#, Address, DOB etc they gave me an update. "Bank account information is missing or incomplete". I was able to update their end using my AGI, Total Refund amount and providing a routing # and Account # for my refund to be deposited into. I just updated my info and will update y'all if i run into any issues but seeing that this is the governments website I feel confident this is the issue everyone is seeing.
Did you get an advance this year on a Turbo card? Also what account #s did it accept? As in the account from 2018 or 2019
Not an advance per say, but signed up for the TurboTax intuit/greendot card for direct deposit. I used my 2019 tax return info
interesting! I checked the irs website and they didn't have any DD info for me. I also used the TT card. Very happy you got yours!! 😁
yes i got an advance on my 2019 refund this year to the turbo card I received in 2020.
I’m just wondering now will the irs accept the direct deposit information seeing as how it’s to my actual bank not the TurboTax Card that I received my tax return on? I couldn’t access the turbo card direct deposit information because nothing turbo card related will work for me!
Yes you can put the info for any acct you want it direct deposited to. It doesn’t have to be turbo tax card
But it told MOST of us that got that message that the account we entered did NOT match the account they had on file; which begs the question IF YHEY HAVE AN ACCOUNT LISTED ON FILE, WHY ARE THEY ASKING FOR ONE?
On the IRS site it says my money was sent to my turbo tax account but on my card I have no pending transactions or nothing please help.
*UPDATE* I am one of several people who filed 2019 with turbo tax and got the turbo card. I checked with irs after no deposit yesterday and it said I was eligible, but more info was needed. I entered the info twice and it said it didn't match what they had on file and locked me out for 24 hours.
**As of this morning I went into this with a little more knowledge and was able to successfully update my direct deposit information. You must enter your AGI & FEDERAL TAX REFUND amount (not your total refund amount) <that was my error>. Also be sure to click each little ? Next to each question to be 100% sure what they are requesting and how to find that info. Hope this helps some of you.
