See this FAQ: How do I change my transferred direct deposit information?
I'm not sure if you got it figured out or not but HERE IS THE ONLY WAY TO DO IT. I spent a lot of time searching through asked questions and did not find one response that helped. Even the "tax professionals" gave crap answers. When you are at the last screen, check the box that says something like "other way to get your refund" and you will see paper check underneath it. Don't worry, keep going, you will get other screens where you have to check to have your tax payment deducted from your refund or enter a cc, I checked to have it deducted from my refund, and then finally, you get to a screen where it has you enter new bank info. I'm sorry I didn't take screen shots or memorize exactly what to say, but you will get there if you click the "Other methods" (paper check) option. I didn't know if it would work so I didn't take screenshots but after 2 more screens it let me enter my new bank info and efile. No paper check involved at all. For a "user friendly" system, this part IS NOT FRIENDLY AT ALL!!! Good luck!!
not helpful at all. At all.
You have to go to Step 2 in the FILE section.
HOW TO CHANGE OR ENTER BANKING INFORMATION FOR REFUND
You cannot change banking information while your return is in pending, nor can you change it after the return is accepted. The IRS does not allow it.
