How can I navigate to fix my return in my turbo tax account to fix an error?

Received an email my return was rejected due to a dependents ssn being incorrect. When i login I do not see anywhere to fix my return. All I see is start my return.

How can I navigate to fix my return in my turbo tax account to fix an error?

To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

 

When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state. 

This will take you back to the 2023 online tax return to make any changes.  In the My Info section of the online editions you can edit the dependents entered to make changes to the SSN.  After making the correction go the File section of the program to e-file your tax return again.  You have until October 20 to make changes and e-file the 2023 tax return again.

unfortunately when I sign on to the tax home web page the only thing I see is tax home and documents. then welcome to turbo tax start your return. 

 

Why did they make this process so complicated this year.

If that is all that you are seeing when signing onto the online account and you used the TurboTax online account to complete a 2023 tax return, then you are in the wrong account.  You must sign onto the online account using the exact same UserID that you used to create the 2023 account.
