Hi. How do I retrieve my 2018 tax return? It is not saved on my TurboTax account. I called earlier and was told it’s on the computer that I filed, which is open now.

Where the tax file is stored depends on whether you used online TurboTax software or the download or CD for desktop software.  If you used online, then you are probably just in the wrong account.  If you used desktop software the tax file is not stored online--it is only on your own hard drive.  So first figure out what you used.

Many people have multiple TT accounts and forget how to access them.  Log out of the account you are in now.

Or did you use the desktop version of TurboTax?  If so, the files are on your own hard drive or any backup device you used like a flash drive.
